Proviron is not only an excellent anti-estrogen: it also is effective at maintening a low level of estrogen. Proviron also reduces water retention. It gives the user the ripped look sought by many bodybuilders.
Proviron is composed of mestérolone dosed at 50mg per tablet. This is not an anabolic but a very powerful anti-estrogen. Prevents gynecomastia, while decreasing the retention of water and fat, it allows the revival of testosterone production in testes, while preventing the aromatization of anabolic.
Drug acts as an anti-aromatic: it prevents the aromatization (transformation) of anabolic steroids into estrogens. It thus avoids the gynecomastia. It can be combined with Nolvadex to increase its effectiveness.
Proviron and Nolvadex are two anti-estrogens whose mechanisms of action are different and complementary, and it is for this reason that the combination of these two products is so effective: while Proviron prevents the use of anti- aromatization of anabolics, Nolvadex obstructs the receptor cells of estrogen, preventing it from acting. It is therefore a formidable tandem.

As for the side effects of mesterolone, they are rare below 100 mg per day. Indeed Proviron tablets are not alpha-alkylated 17 and are not harmful to the liver. On the other hand, if one begins to exceed the 75 100 mg per day, we often see phenomena such as priapism (painful situation in which the penis after erection does not find its normal flaccidity) in humans or virilization in women.
